Book Cover

For this project, I worked with a professional writing student to design the book cover for their book, Captain Cosmigirl and the Totally Uncalled for Betrayal. My job was to create a cover that, using the author's ideas and specified components, graphically captured the heart of the narrative. The sci-fi novel's soul is captured in the cover's vivid, futuristic picture, which has a striking color scheme and an air of fun and adventure. I carefully chose fonts to ensure the title stood out against the dynamic background and created the artwork using Adobe Photoshop. This project improved my ability to use visual design to convey a story's concepts. It taught me how to work well with an author to realize their vision while still producing a design that is both aesthetically pleasing and commercially viable.
