Special Olympics
For this project, I made a series of social media advertisements for the Special Olympics. The advertisements, which showed athletes in action, were meant to challenge and inspire viewers to look past stereotypes. The slogan "Athletes First. Labels Last" and the hashtag #AbilityOverLimits, and the striking images of athletes competing in events, felt impactful. The intention was to inspire others to rethink what is possible while also giving athletes a sense of pride and empowerment. Working on this campaign gave me a significant chance to demonstrate my creative abilities while also supporting a cause that promotes inclusivity and constructive change. This project was special to me because I volunteered with the Special Olympics organization all throughout high school. It is also a component of my ADDY Awards submission, and it was a fulfilling experience that combined creativity with a message with a purpose. It showed me how effectively design can spread a message of inclusivity and empowerment.
